When I was commenting to you how stagnated I feel because I “should” be more focused on creating my website, you made me aware of “should”.  Thanks.  I will be working on the assignment you proposed and look forward to next week’s time together.  My assignment was to live with the inquiry of “What if I jumped right to going after being a life coach with no steps in between?” I’ll let that percolate for the week and see where it goes in me.

On our call yesterday, I had the satisfaction of telling you how my little drama has unfolded.  I call it a little drama, because I never would have imagined how easy it would be to get in the flow and just go with divine guidance to realize and address some issues I have been struggling with for as long as I can remember.  You gave me a challenge to “jump in” on a coaching call a couple of weeks ago, and I said “yes!” – now I am working at a whole different level.  What I feel is not a giddy happiness or sense of accomplishment, but rather a turning around to see myself as whole, and mature, and ready to be who I have become.

As always,  I’m glad you are in my life.  Tonight I got a chance to take your challenge to dive in rather than dipping a toe in the water.  It was class night, and although Noel had agreed to attend in Oct., and handle the presentations, he had decided not to come tonight since he had been traveling over the weekend.  I jumped in, we had two new people, and I did the presentation by myself.  I did see where something could have been presented to the class in a more descriptive way, but it went quite well, and I felt that part of that feeling of freedom could be attributed to your coaching support which encouraged me to look into my motives and feelings on the issue I was grappling with, in order to achieve some clarity.  I appreciate you for your honesty and forthrightness.  Also, at no point during the class tonight did I feel I was in over my head – my lecture was informal and informative, and I was in control of the exercises.  I really enjoyed teaching the class, where in the past I have been dreading it and wishing more people attended, etc.

We actually dug deeper and it felt right.  I must say again that your life experiences are light for my own path, and it serves as support for me to know that you have been through similar experiences and have made it through successfully.

You also made me realize the possibility that I may not be as devoted and committed to doing the thought work to overcome my anxiety and this has motivated me to be more focused and aware on this matter.

As everything else is happening in my life at such a seemingly rapid pace, I notice that my house is staying neater – it’s transferring to other things, too.

Thank you, again, for keeping me on track, and focused on the important things in my life; also for guidance to keep things in perspective.

You are right that I have had so many major changes in my life in the last couple of years – new life partner, retirement, ordination; plus renting out my house, new physician (when Dr. W. moved), starting to write again.  The pot is being stirred in a large way, and it feels so like I’m in the right place to take all this in and be in charge of my life.  Amazing resources come my way – unexpected but always appreciated.  Your input during the coaching call is something that I anticipate each week.

As a result of our coaching sessions, I have recently started making decisions related to conducting the services at church.  I realize that as a newly ordained minister, I am on the “fast track” since my pastor is ill, but I also acknowledge that I have deferred to others all my life, rather than stand up for what I want or take full responsibility for tasks assigned to me.  This new way of being has felt relatively seamless, in that I have not experienced major discomfort in taking a more assertive position, and so you had to point out my success, my accomplishments (which are huge, though I have just integrated this way of being without fanfare, so to speak).  I’m sending a huge hug your way.

When I embarked on this part of my spiritual path, the universe sent you to me – it all happened within a month or two.  That’s pretty amazing when we consider that I live in Florida and you live in California – what were the chances that we’d actually meet through a common interest (writing) and that I could see you as a resource for my accomplishing so many shifts in my life.  It just continues to amaze and astound me, and it is so wonderful to have you in my life now, and for the past two years, plus, and into what’s unfolding.
