It’s as if I wasn’t aware of who I was for many years. I was adopted as a baby and was brought up to be who my parents thought I should be. I found Maia through Twitter and through YOU University, l have found myself – the real ME. As a result my life has transformed. I finally see the person who allowed herself to be led through life by other people. I finally truly “have a life”!
My learning is ongoing in YOU University as ‘Life is a School’ and I attend every day.
My purpose is to help you become the very best version of yourself. I expect you to be honest with yourself and with me and you can expect me to be honest with you and myself and also to be non-judgmental. When you decide to work with me, I do expect you to commit to the YOU University process.
- Do you have a sense that you’re sort of 2-dimensional and there is so much more to you? Do you want to find out who you really are? I know how you are feeling. I felt it most of my life. After going through the YOU University course I have discovered the depths and richness of the real me and I love who I am and who I am continuing to become. I have found the person I was meant to be. I am no longer manipulated and belittled by other people. I no longer allow that to happen.
- Do you want to change your life? Do you want to get out of that rut and feel fulfilled and inspired again? You can do it and you’ll find a real and bright future in front of you.
In addition to my experiences and continual growing and learning going through YOU University, the ongoing support I am receiving from my fellow coaches and also giving to them and my clients, I have learned even more about myself by going through Relationship YOU. This programme has definitely improved my relationship with myself and with my husband too. I learned so much more than I thought I would about myself and my perceptions. I would love to work with you through this excellent programme and watch your relationships change and blossom.

Maggie Currie in response to assignment given coaches asking how YOU University changed their lives:
- I am more aware of the parental influences involved in the past that pushed me to be someone I was not.
- The use of Love Letters has been powerful in acknowledging the anger I have been harbouring for many years towards my ex-husband, my parents, my eldest son, my youngest son and my daughter and, of course, myself.
- My resistance has been noted and dealt with so far and I am now more able to identify it when it appears again
- · I am continually inspired by Maia Berens and all the YOU University Coaches, Coaches in Training and Students. The support and love for each and every one of us continues long after graduation. We are all connected, even across the miles, by our phone calls, emails, Facebook entries and on Twitter.
- I have begun to eat for my body and not for me and to exercise for my body and for me.
- It has confirmed my belief that my intuition is best for me and to follow that intuition when coaching others.
- I have learned so much more from You University than I ever did in the 5 courses I have done before. They have led me to here, where I need to be to add emotion based coaching to my skills. Without that I was not complete at a coach, now I am a world class coach.
- I am using journaling which is something I had considered but put on the back burner because of resistance.
- I am more able and in a shorter space of time to help others to learn more about themselves
- It is re-established my confidence in myself
This programme as I have said before is the most in depth one I have ever gone through and it has changed my life dramatically in that I am now more confident in my abilities as a coach, as a person and I can really see things for what they are in life where it was all a bit fuzzy before. I just love it!
