I completely agree also. I am sick of the fear mongering going on about “the economy”.

I have great empathy and compassion for those who are losing jobs, having problems with morgages/money and living in fear of what the future holds.

I also applaud myself for, with your support, considering all of the possibilities of expansion, looking at alternatives to my own “stuff” (my stuff just happens to not be out of a job, but I, like all others, still have “stuff”), and forging ahead for happiness and prosperity.

So, people can spread a consciousness based in fear or spread a consciousness based on love. To quote ACIM: “Everything is as it is meant to be”. The fact that it appears fearful is a choice on whether you want to feel bad or do something about it.

It really isn’t easy for many people right now. Fear doesn’t help. It hurts because, as you say, the universe will respond to the law of attraction, and you just get more fear. It is a choice to decide what it is you want to attract: being fearful or being hopeful, trusting, positive and supportive of oneself and others.

Stories like your husbands are all over the place and need to be heard. Like your husband did, it is a time to get organized, ready ourselves to take on the challenges that come our way, discern our thoughts to keep and spread the positive ones, and accept the opportunity and prosperity as it comes into our lives.
