Maia
I'm sure you are counting the days. I wonder what plans you are making for spending that precious time together. It's lovely to have something to look forward to.

I liked the title about sacred time but in my Martian mind I am thinking that we all have our own definition about what the word sacred means and as long as my definition does not offend you then everything is cool. As far as I am concerned any time I am breathing is sacred time. It's just that we are so used to being alive that it seems ordinary. I don't know yet what the time is after I am gone and have left the planet and it may be sacred as well.

As far as Maia's post is concerned , I agree that all relationships need to be renewed on a regular basis and I have never been taught nor did I watch my parents do this at all - so much the pity.

This is one of those things that always gets a second rather than a first priority because there are always more important things to do (and that's the problem isn't it?) I mean how easy is it in today's world to take off a weekend or even a full uninterrupted day and spend it just on your primary relationship?

More to the point, is it really necessary or is it just a nice thing to do? I am staring to be convinced that depending on what level of juice you are looking to create and maintain in your relationship, it is necessary. And so, folks, you heard it here first. I will start creating my life so that at least one weekend a month Maia and I will spend the time only with each other. Stay tuned. GREAT.
