Our mind holds our emotions, our thoughts. Emotions can turn our thoughts and our thoughts can turn our actions. To completely be aware of our emotions effects our thoughts and actions. So we must be honest in the self awareness we have.
As an advocate for personal growth I practice what I preach. So I must listen to these thoughts and take note from where they are coming from. Now I insist that clients and attendees to You University learn how to do the same.
So, back to my wonderful mind. I had some negative thoughts about the beautiful way I handled a unique situation (the story is not important at this time). But luckily, because I work with others and get to remind them a lot about that kind of (ego) mind, I caught that sneaky little thought. I immediately felt that heavier emotion in my body and today I was aware.
And in the best style of a student of Abraham Hicks, I talked my way back to knowing that it is a good thing to be in a state of understanding and acceptance of a hard situation.
Just had to share that experience before the learning got away.
